Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:20 PM NDT 19 April 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Gaspé Peninsula will cross the Gulfof St. Lawrence and move to lie over Western Newfoundland by Monday
afternoon. Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the trough will
shift to strong westerlies as it passes.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port.
