district today to lie east of Newfoundland this evening. Strong to
storm force southerly winds ahead of the trough will shift to strong
to gale force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait - southern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for all other waters except Fundy and
Northumberland Strait - western half.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Lurcher, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore, Sable,
