Issued 8:00 PM AST 15 December 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 947 mb located over northeastern
Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 942 mb located northeast of
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over southeastern Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:33 PM AST 15 December 2025 An intense low pressure system over Northeast Newfoundland will
continue to track northeastward tonight. Gale to storm force
northwesterly winds behind the low across the marine district will
diminish tonight.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Fundy and Grand Manan.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou, and
Anticosti.
