Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:40 AM AST 17 November 2018 As a low pressure system over Newfoundland continues to move eastward
away from the district today, gale force westerlies will slowly
diminish from west to east. Gale to storm force winds in the south
and eastern marine district will diminish by this evening.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for
southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian
Slope, Fourchu, Cabot Strait and Gulf-Magdalen-eastern half.
