at 39.2N 65.5W.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday Post-tropical Storm Odette 992 mb located
at 42.9N 56.4W.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday approaching ridge located over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:52 PM ADT 18 September 2021 As of 8:00 PM post-tropical storm Odette is at 39.2 degrees
North, 65.5 degrees west or about 305 nautical miles southwest of
Sable Island. Maximum winds are 40 knots, central pressure is 1001
millibars and the system is moving northeast at 16 knots.

Post-tropical storm Odette is currently south of West Scotian Slope
and will track along the southern edge of the marine district to lie
along the southern edge of Laurentian Fan on Sunday evening. Gale to
storm force southeasterly winds will shift to gale to storm force
northerlies in its wake over eastern waters. Winds may gust to
hurricane force over eastern waters late on Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau and Laurentian Fan - western
half. Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank - southern half,
West Scotian Slope - southern half, eastern shore, Fourchu,
Laurentian Fan - eastern half, and Cabot Strait.
