District.
At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 990 mb located over southern Ontario.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Thursday low 986 mb located over the northern
Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:37 AM AST 10 December 2025 A trough of low pressure will track northeastward across the southernmarine district today. Strong to gale force southerly winds will
develop ahead of this feature.
A low pressure system developing over Southern Ontario will track
across New Brunswick Thursday morning to lie over Northern Gulf of
St. Lawrence waters Thursday afternoon. Strong to gale force easterly
winds are forecast ahead of the low. Strong to gale force westerly
winds are expected south of the low late in the day Thursday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore,
LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Laurentian Fan
and Anticosti - northwestern half.
Additionally, a freezing spray warning is in effect Anticosti.
