Issued 3:30 PM ADT 17 October 2018 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing ridge located over the eastern
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight deepening low 995 mb located northwest
of Anticosti Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday low 980 mb located over eastern
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM ADT 17 October 2018 A low pressure system will approach the district from the west
tonight and deepen as it moves to lie near Eastern Newfoundland
Thursday evening. Gale force northwesterlies will develop over all
waters in the wake of the low. There is a slight risk of waterspouts
in the cold northwesterlies over southeastern portions of the Gulf of
St. Lawrence, including the Northumberland Strait early Thursday
morning and into the afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
