Issued 10:00 AM ADT 22 October 2018 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today departing trough located from the Avalon
Peninsula to the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today building ridge located over the East Coast
of the U.S.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday ridge located south of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1010 mb located north of the Great
Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Tuesday deepening low 1010 mb located near
Cape Cod.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:47 AM ADT 22 October 2018 A trough of low pressure extending from Southeastern Newfoundland to
the Southwestern Grand Banks will continue to move eastward away from
the district today. Strong northwesterly winds will shift to strong
westerlies in its wake. Mariners in the Gulf - Magdalen area are
advised that conditions are somewhat favourable for the formation of
waterspouts late this morning and this afternoon behind this feature.

A second low pressure system will approach the district from the west
on Tuesday and begin to rapidly intensify near Cape Cod on Tuesday
evening before turning to the northeast. Strong to gale force
southeasterly to southwesterly winds will develop ahead of this
system over western waters late on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank and West Scotian Slope.
