Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located over the eastern United States.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
the Maritimes.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today Tropical Storm Melissa 1001 mb located at
40.3N 58.4W.
By 3:30 a.m. ADT Monday Post-tropical Storm Melissa 1008 mb located
at 40.6N 55.5W.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:28 PM ADT 13 October 2019 Tropical storm information

Tropical storm Melissa is located south of West Scotian Slope and
will remain south of the marine district as it tracks slowly eastward
and weakens to a post-tropical system tonight. It will not
significantly affect the marine district.

At 3:30 PM ADT tropical storm Melissa was located near latitude 40.3
north and longitude 58.4 west. Maximum sustained winds were
Estimated at 40 knots and central pressure at 1001 MB. Melissa was
tracking eastward at 15 knots.

Outlook for the start up of the Upper Bay of Fundy lobster fishery:

Monday..Winds light increasing to southerly 10 to 15 knots in the
Evening.
Tuesday..Winds southeasterly 10 to 15 knots increasing to northwest
15 knots in the afternoon.
