Issued 10:00 AM ADT 22 October 2024 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located from Quebec to Nova Scotia.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located over the southern
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located over Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located over the St. Lawrence
River.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:03 AM ADT 22 October 2024 A ridge of high pressure is forecast to track southeastward across
the Maritimes today to lie over the Grand Banks on Wednesday.
Meanwhile a trough of low pressure will approach the region from the
west on Wednesday giving strong to gale force southerlies especially
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
