By 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located southeast of the
East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:22 AM NDT 13 March 2026 A deepening low pressure system over Western Newfoundland will moveto lie northeast of Belle Isle Bank overnight tonight. Gale to storm
force north to northwesterlies will develop over most waters as the
low passes south of the district.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East
Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
