Issued 4:00 PM NDT 12 May 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 985 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 992 mb located southeast of the
Marine District.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located over Hudson Bay.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line north-south over
western Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:39 PM NDT 12 May 2025 A low pressure system over the Belle Isle Bank will track slowlyeastward and move southeast of the marine district throughout the
forecast period. Gale to storm force northerly to northwesterly winds
are expected over all waters with this system.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Labrador Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador
Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
