Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Saturday ridge located from the Gulf of Maine to
Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:20 AM NDT 26 April 2024 A low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will remain nearlystationary today, then slowly track northeastward tonight. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies to the east of the low and gale to storm
force northwesterlies to its west will diminish by Saturday morning
as the low gradually weakens.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea - northwestern half
and Northwest Labrador Sea.
