Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NST 13 February 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 979 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday departing low 988 mb located east of
the Marine District.

At 9:30 a.m. NST Saturday approaching ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:54 PM NST 13 February 2026 A low pressure system over Belle Isle Bank will move to lie east of
the marine district Saturday afternoon. Strong to gale force
northerlies to northeasterlies can be expected over all waters as a
result of this low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
