By 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday dissipating trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 969 mb located southeast of Greenland.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Thursday low 971 mb located over northeastern
Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:24 PM NST 6 December 2023 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continue to slowlytrack westward toward the marine district tonight and Thursday.
Gale to storm force northeast to northwesterlies are expected to
develop over most waters ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea - southeastern half. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters except East Labrador Sea - northwestern
half.
