Issued 4:00 AM NST 9 December 2025 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough located on a linenorthwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:54 AM NST 9 December 2025 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over theLabrador Sea throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force
easterlies to the north and east of the trough shift to strong the
gale force west to northwesterlies to the south and west of it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, the Labrador coast, and South Labrador Sea.
