At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Monday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Sea.

Issued 3:46 PM NST 18 January 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continue to trackeastward over the Atlantic, departing this evening. Strong to gale
force westerlies will diminish this evening as it departs.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water except South Labrador Coast.
