Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM AST 26 December 2024 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 1002 mb located south of Laurentian
Fan.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Friday weakening low 1010 mb located near the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight approaching ridge located over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:14 AM AST 27 December 2024 A low pressure system southeast of Laurentian Fan will move slowly
east, then north as it weakens to lie over the Grand Banks Friday
afternoon. Strong to gale force northerlies are forecast north and
west of the low tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau and Laurentian Fan.
