Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:52 AM ADT 19 April 2026 A trough of low pressure extending from a low over Northern Quebec
will approach the marine district today then track across the
district tonight and Monday. Strong to gale southerly winds ahead of
the trough shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half and Anticosti - northwestern half.
