Issued 10:00 AM ADT 23 March 2019 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 981 mb located over southeastern
New Brunswick.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday departing low 970 mb located northeast
of Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough located over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday trough located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:53 AM ADT 23 March 2019 A low pressure system over Southeastern New Brunswick will move
northeastward to lie northeast of Newfoundland by Sunday morning.
Strong to gale force easterlies ahead of the low shift to strong to
gale force westerlies in its wake. Late on Sunday, a trough will
track southward across the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Gale force
northwesterlies and colder temperatures are expected over northern
waters in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank,
West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, and Anticosti. A freezing spray warning
is in effect for Anticosti. In addition, higher than normal water
levels can be expected during high tide late this morning along the
southwestern shore and early this afternoon for Yarmouth County.
