At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1002 mb located near Cape Cod.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday deepening low 998 mb located near Grand
Manan.

Issued 9:28 AM ADT 13 October 2024 Strong to gale force westerly winds will become northwesterlies inthe wake of a departing low. Winds will diminish from west to east
today. On Monday, a new low will advance across the bay
Of Fundy and spread southeasterly gales over the gulf of
St. Lawrence and western waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait,
Chaleur - Miscou, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti - southwestern half.
Outlook for the start-up of the Upper Bay of Fundy lobster fishery.
Today...Northwest 20 knots diminishing to west 15 near noon and to
southwest 10 to 15 in the evening. Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1
metre or less in the afternoon.
Monday...Winds light becoming easterly 20 knots in the morning and
increasing to east 25 to 30 knots near noon. Winds becoming southerly
25 to 30 in the evening. Seas 1 metre or less in the morning building
to 1 to 2 metres near noon.
Tuesday...Southwest 20 to 25 knots. Seas 1 to 2 metres.
