Issued 9:30 AM NST 7 November 2025 Today Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the southern South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 AM NST 7 November 2025 A northwest-southeast trough of low pressure will stall over the
South Labrador Sea. Gale to storm force northeasterlies north of the
trough and strong to gale force northwesterlies to its south and west
will diminish on Saturday as the trough weakens.

Large waves and pounding surf will produce higher than normal water
levels along the coast today, especially near high tide.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for South Labrador
Coast, and Northwest Labrador Sea - southern half.

Marine interests are also advised that a high water level warning is
in effect for Mid Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale.
