By 4:00 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located east of the
Marine District.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday trough located on a line north-south
over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 AM NDT 4 October 2024 A trough of low pressure over Western Labrador will continue to
approach the marine district as a ridge of high pressure remains
nearly stationary over Greenland. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies are expected over northwestern waters between these
two features today.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea - northwestern half.
