Issued 9:30 AM NDT 17 October 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 971 mb located over southeastern
Greenland.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing low 970 mb located over eastern
Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight intensifying trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located on a line east-west over
the South Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today deepening low 985 mb located over the Quebec
Lower North Shore.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 981 mb located south of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:31 AM NDT 17 October 2026 A low pressure system east of the Labrador Sea will depart east of
Greenland by this evening. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over
the East Labrador Sea will diminish later today as the low moves
away.

A trough of low pressure will develop over the Northwest Labrador Sea
overnight tonight and slowly drift southwards on Sunday. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies will develop in the wake of this trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Northwest Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
