Issued 9:30 PM NDT 19 October 2026 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 1002 mb located over the northern
South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday quasi-stationary trough located off
Greenland.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday building ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:14 PM NDT 19 October 2026 A low pressure system over northern sections of the South Labrador
Sea will continue to move eastward tonight before weakening into a
trough south of Greenland on Tuesday. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies over southern waters will diminish tonight as the low
moves away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea - southern half.
