Issued 9:24 PM NST 8 December 2023 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will remain nearlystationary throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force
northeast to northwesterlies will persist tonight and diminish
Saturday as a ridge begins to move in from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except East Labrador Sea - northwestern half.
