District.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing low 967 mb located southeast
of the Marine District.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 994 mb located over northern Ontario.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 989 mb located near Ungava Bay.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:45 PM NST 9 December 2023 A low pressure system southeast of the marine district will slowly
track to the east tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will
diminish this evening as a ridge begins to move in from the west.

A second low pressure system is forecast to develop over Northern
Ontario tonight and track northeast to lie near Ungava Bay Sunday
evening. Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies are expected
to develop ahead of the system on Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
