Issued 9:30 AM NDT 23 September 2018 Today Tonight and Monday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 961 mb located over
the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:07 AM NDT 23 September 2018 An intense low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will remain
nearly stationary and slowly weaken.

Gale force easterly winds north of the low shift to generally storm
to hurricane force northwesterlies to southwesterlies behind it.
Winds will diminish to strong to gale force northwesterly on Monday
as the low weakens.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
Storm warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Lake
Melville, South Labrador Coast and Mid Labrador Coast where gale
warnings are in effect.
