Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM NST 21 February 2024 An intense low pressure system will remain quasi-stationary southeast
of Greenland today before moving eastward tonight and Thursday.
Gale to storm force west to northwesterlies will persist today west
of the low before diminishing tonight.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
