By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday low 988 mb located east of Baffin Island.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday approaching low 995 mb located east of
the Great Northern Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:57 AM NDT 8 May 2026 A low pressure system over North Labrador Coast will track north to
lie east of Baffin Island by early Saturday morning. Strong to gale
force south to southeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to strong
to gale force southwesterlies to northwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
