At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 AM NST 22 February 2024 An intense low pressure system east of Greenland will continue to
track eastward today. Strong to gale force westerlies will diminish
this morning as the low departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
