Issued 9:30 AM NDT 22 May 2025 Today Tonight and Friday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located from Ungava Bay to the
Maritimes.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday ridge located from Ungava Bay to the
Grand Banks.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today deepening low 998 mb located southeast
of Greenland.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Friday quasi-stationary low 986 mb located east
of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:03 AM NDT 22 May 2025 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will deepen today as it
moves northward and becomes nearly stationary east of Greenland
tonight. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will continue to build
over Labrador. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected to
develop over northeastern waters in between these two features.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea.
