Issued 4:00 PM NDT 8 April 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 995 mb located over Lake Melville.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday dissipating low 999 mb located south of
Lake Melville.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today trough located on a line east-west over
the southern South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 PM NDT 8 April 2020 A low pressure system over Lake Melville will move southwestward and
weaken tonight. A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea
associated with the low will move north to lie over the Northwest
Labrador each Thursday afternoon. Gale force northeasterly winds to
the north of this system will persist through Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
