Issued 4:00 PM NDT 23 October 2024 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 986 mb located over northern Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday low 975 mb located over the East
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday approaching ridge located over the Quebec
Lower North Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:40 PM NDT 23 October 2024 A low pressure system over Northern Labrador will move into the East
Labrador Sea this evening. Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead
of the low shift to strong to gale force west to northwesterlies in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
