the Grand Banks.

Issued 2:47 AM NDT 8 May 2025 A trough of low pressure stretching from the Gaspé Peninsula to theNortheast Coast will move slowly eastward today and tonight. Strong
southwesterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force northeasterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Gulf - Port au Port -
northwestern half.
