Issued 3:00 AM NST 18 December 2017 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 962 mb located east
of Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today high located over Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday high located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:31 AM NST 18 December 2017 An intense low pressure system east of Greenland will remain nearly
stationary as a ridge of high pressure approaches the district from
the west today. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will diminish to
moderate to strong in the vicinity of the ridge.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, East Coast - north of
Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island
Bank.
