Issued 3:00 AM NDT 12 October 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 1001 mb located west of
Anticosti Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 992 mb located east of Funk Island
Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 1005 mb located north of
Cape Hatteras.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 989 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 AM NDT 12 October 2026 An intensifying low pressure system approaching from the west will
cross Newfoundland today and lie east of Funk Island Bank tonight.
Strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop south of the low
while strong to gale force northwesterlies can be expected in its
wake.

A second intensifying low pressure system approaching from the
southwest will cross the Southern Grand Banks tonight before moving
off to the east on Tuesday. Gale force southwesterlies can also be
expected just south of this low while gale force northerlies to
northwesterlies can be expected in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and
south, Belle Isle Bank, and the Grand Banks.
