Labrador Coast.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:52 PM NST 19 January 2021 A deepening low pressure system over the Northern Grand Banks willmove to lie over Belle Isle Bank Wednesday afternoon then track
northwestwards towards the Labrador coast. Strong to gale force east
or northeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to strong to gale
force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island
Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, East Coast, Northeast
Coast, and Belle Isle Bank - southwestern half.
