Coast.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday low 960 mb located over eastern Labrador
Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough from 966 mb low located over central
Anticosti Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday trough from 960 mb low located east of
the Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located over the southeastern Grand
Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating ridge located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:17 PM NDT 22 September 2018 An intense low pressure system off the Labrador coast will track
eastward across the Labrador Sea tonight. An associated trough from
the low will continue to cross Eastern Newfoundland today to lie over
the Grand Banks by Sunday morning. Gale to storm force southerlies
ahead of the trough will shift to gale to storm force west to
southwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis,
Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank. Gale warnings
are in effect for all remaining waters except Southeastern Grand
Banks.
