Issued 3:00 AM NST 25 January 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 982 mb located over the Great Northern
Peninsula.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday trough located on a line east-west over
Banquereau.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 961 mb located east of the Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST today departing low 958 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 981 mb located over eastern Laurentian
Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 982 mb located south of the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:56 AM NST 25 January 2021 A low pressure system over the Great Northern Peninsula will weaken
into a trough as it moves to lie south of Newfoundland tonight.
Gale force north to northeasterlies can be expected to the north and
west of this feature.

A second low east of the Grand Banks will continue moving away from
the marine district today. Strong to gale force northerlies over far
southeastern waters will diminish this morning as the low departs.

A third low over the Eastern Laurentian Fan will track eastwards
today. Gale force west to southwesterlies can be expected over far
southwestern waters today to the south of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank,
and the Southern Grand Banks.
