Funk Island Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT today dissipating trough located on a line
east-west over Funk Island Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 1002 mb located over Cape
Breton Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday low 985 mb located over the Northeast
Coast of Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located over Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:45 AM NDT 24 October 2021 A low pressure system over Cape Breton Island will deepen and move to
lie over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland by Monday morning.
Strong to gale force southerlies will develop ahead of the low today
and shift to strong to gale force northerlies to westerlies in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
