Funk Island Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday approaching trough located over the
St. Lawrence River.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located on a line north-south over
the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday dissipating trough located over the
southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:23 PM NST 23 February 2024 A trough of low pressure will approach the district from the west
tonight. Strong to gale force southerlies will spread across most
waters late in the day on Saturday ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northern Grand Banks
and Southeastern Grand Banks.
