At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located from Sable Island to the
Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday departing trough located south of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located from Labrador to Funk Island
Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday ridge located from Labrador Sea to the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM NDT 31 March 2023 A deepening low pressure system southeast of the Grand Banks will
continue to track east-northeastward around the edge of the marine
district through tonight and Saturday morning. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies will back to strong to gale force northwesterlies as
the low departs Saturday morning.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northern Grand Banks - eastern half and Southeastern Grand Banks.
