Issued 3:30 PM NST 17 December 2017 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 953 mb located east of the Marine
District.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday low 958 mb located east of Greenland.

By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching ridge located west of the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:15 PM NST 17 December 2017 An intense low pressure system east of the marine district will
continue northeastward tonight to lie east of Greenland by Monday
morning. A ridge of high pressure will approach the district from the
west on Monday. Gale force northwesterlies in the immediate wake of
the low diminish to strong to gale force between the two features.
Winds diminish to moderate to strong in the vicinity of the ridge on
Monday.

Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for Belle
Isle Bank and Southwestern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast
- Cape St. Francis and south, and the Grand Banks.
