Issued 10:00 AM NST 10 December 2019 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line east-west oversoutheastern Labrador.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday low 971 mb located over eastern
Labrador Sea.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over southeastern Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 11:26 AM NST 10 December 2019 An east - west trough of low pressure over Southeastern Labrador willmove north across Labrador today. A low pressure system will form in
the trough over the Mid Labrador Coast this afternoon. Gale to storm
force south to southwesterlies will develop over all waters today
south of the trough.
A second trough extending southwest from the low will cross
Newfoundland Wednesday morning to lie over the Grand Banks Wednesday
evening. Winds will shift to strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies behind this trough.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Coast, and the
Southern Grand Banks where gale warnings are in effect.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port,
Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle Bank.
