Issued 8:00 PM NST 10 December 2019 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 980 mb located over central
Labrador Sea.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Wednesday low 965 mb located over eastern
Labrador Sea.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough from low located over the
St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Wednesday trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:51 PM NST 10 December 2019 A low pressure system over Central Labrador Sea will move slowly
eastward tonight and deepen. Gale to storm force south to
southwesterlies will persist tonight.

A trough extending southwest from the low will cross Newfoundland
Wednesday morning to lie over the Grand Banks Wednesday evening.
Gale to storm force southwesterlies will shift to strong to gale
force west to northwesterlies behind this trough.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
