Issued 10:00 AM ADT 12 March 2026 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 994 mb located over southern Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 994 mb located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the eastern Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:34 AM ADT 12 March 2026 A low pressure system is continuing to approach from Southern Quebec
will move eastward across the Gulf of St. Lawrence today. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies have developed in the Gulf region ahead of
the low this morning and is forecast to become strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake this afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Fundy, Northumberland Strait, and Chaleur - Miscou
- western half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait - northern half and all Gulf of St. Lawrence
waters except Northumberland Strait.
