Issued 3:30 PM ADT 1 April 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today cold front located over the central Marine
District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday cold front located on a line north-south
over the Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday approaching ridge located over the Gulf
of Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:15 PM ADT 1 April 2025 A cold front over the central marine district will track eastward
across the area tonight to lie over the Grand Banks overnight
tonight. Strong to gale force southwesterlies ahead of the cold front
shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur -
Miscou, and Anticosti. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
