By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing ridge located over the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:52 PM NDT 14 May 2026 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest on Friday,
crossing Newfoundland on Saturday. Strong to gale force east to
southeasterlies will develop over southern waters ahead of the low
tonight and Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and
south, and the Grand Banks.
