Issued 8:00 PM NST 17 February 2020 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 1013 mb located over the southwestern
Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday departing low 1005 mb located east of
the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the West Coast of Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Tuesday departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Tuesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:40 PM NST 17 February 2020 A trough of low pressure over the west coast of Newfoundland will
sweep across the eastern marine district tonight and Tuesday to lie
east of the Grand Banks Tuesday evening. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies can be expected over eastern waters in the wake of
the trough on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Strait of Belle Isle and the
Southern Grand Banks.
