Issued 3:30 PM NST 7 March 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today departing ridge located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM NST 7 March 2026 A trough of low pressure will approach the marine district from
Quebec tonight before lying over the Gulf of St. Lawrence by Sunday
afternoon. Gale to storm force southwesterlies will continue to
spread across the district tonight, ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Funk Island Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
