Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing low 983 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 988 mb located over the Great Lakes.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 984 mb located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday ridge located east of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM NDT 1 April 2023 A deep low pressure system southeast of the Grand Banks will continue
east of the marine district this morning. Strong to gale force north
to northwesterly winds over the Grand Banks will ease as the low
departs.

An intensifying low pressure system will approach the Gulf of St.
Lawrence tonight and move over Southeastern Labrador on Sunday.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop over all waters
ahead of this system and will shift to strong to gale force west to
southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Strait of Belle Isle and the Northeast Gulf.
